I would recommend waiting until Tuesday to see if the illegals have been let back into work....if they have, then boycott. If you see faces of citizens who replace some former illegal workers, then things went well. But, let's face it, even with 20 million illegals or so in the country, not all of them work (30% of our federal prisoners are illegals, mind you) or are even old enough to work, so the effect will be minimal at best.

Oh well, I had to get gas today, but I will bust out the window mounted US flag and fly it to my pre-employment test for BP in the morning, though it might not help the MPGs on the Ranger, which I really could use right now.

So sorry for the small font, I did a quick cut and paste this morning before I left for the airport to come home, I didn't preview the post and check the font size.

Why should the reader have to do all the work ?

Please just use the FTE default font

bf250,
Thats right, I got my SUV. I think this is still America, but I could be wrong. Please inform me on what you and the Government what me to drive. Maybe I should give up my 72 mustang, because you might not want an old car with a V-8 engine on the road. The evil car buying public. They don't know what is right. Keep posting about the EVIL SUVs, and tell the public what you want us to drive. Thanks

ummmm........i was being sarcastic, my mom drives a 2004 tahoe, and yes, i used to own a 1972 mach 1 with a 351c in it, i drive a 2004 f250 right now.

if you take the whole context of what i was saying, you would know what segment of the public i am aiming my statement at.

i AM on FTE, so obviously i am not for everyone driving eco boxes around.

bf250,
Sorry I missed your context of your post, and didn't get it. Do you miss your Mach 1? I sure do enjoy driving my old iron. My car has a slightly built 351C. It sure runs nice for a carbed engine. Anyway, thanks for the heads up on your post.

I heard a congressman on the radio today say that illegals murder 12 people per day and kill 13 people per day due to drunk driving. They also molest 8 kids a day. They bring in 80% of the illegal drugs, etc.

no prob! i could have explained my post better, but then it would have been to political. anyways, the mach 1 was my first car, my dad and i built it. it was primer black, weld wheels, top loader 4 speed and a slightly built 351c also. it was a good car, i sold it back in high school to get funding for my truck to run which i needed for part-time work (and got into trucks more). i really would like to get an old muscle car again, one that isn't to bad of shape but bad enough for me to work on and get cheap. the 1969 fastback is actually my favorite. one day the finances will come in for me to do that!

I went to Sears and bought $200 worth of tools. I took the kids on alittle shopping spree and spent about $150 at their favorite clothing stores. Picked up and paid paid for the rest of my 4" SuperLift. And finally went to the grocery store and bought stuff for spagetti. It was nice not having the usual thugs at the mall today. Hope they protest more often.

They held a boycott yesterday? Nobody around here noticed. If they want "rights", they need to become legal citizens and exercise the right to vote.

You know how many REAL illegals were at that rally yesterday? Not many. They should have had a giant truck out there with INS folks rounding them up. This is absolutely ridiculous. Read all the posts above mine...pretty much everyone here feels the same way about this....so WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?? The problem is no one in the US government has a pair on them to get anything done. I voted for officials under the premise they would represent me, which they have not, and rarely do. Why Bush and the government is ruining my country, i cannot say.
I'm all for immigration reform. I think we should reform it to make it more stringent on who becomes citizens. Then i think we should line the southern borders with 24 hour armed patrol, be that Marine, Navy, Coast Gaurd, local militia, or anyone that has the capacity to shoot a weapon. Give them direct orders to neutralize any threats that come from "that side" to "this side". This is an invasion by a foreign country any way you slice it. They enter the country illegally, soak up our resources, export our resources, and force their culture on ours. I dont know where they get the idea that this is their land, country , or whatever, but they lost once, and they will lose again. The treary agreement should have extended to the rest of Mexico, not just the border, but hindsight is 20/20. One final thought....I would like to see, someone, ANYONE, get truly outraged at this. I see news people, and interviewees, and they are all pretty much apathetic about it, which is really nothing more than rewarding ill behavior, much the same way the dog pees on the carpet, and you dont say anything. Its time to help them understand the saying 'biting the hand that feeds you". I think Rome had a similar issue as this....and look what it got them.

Alot of the illegals went to work yesterday around here, one of them commented that the government would work everything out in their favor anyway, talk about steaming me!!!!
