I once read a sign that said "Explain to me again why procrastination on your part suddenly makes it an emergency on my part" or something like that. Is anyone here familiar with that saying?
I've seen signs or t-shirts with something along those lines. I thought it was more of a statement than a question, though:
"Procrastination on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."
"Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part"
But if you don't bust your butt to bail them out, then you get scolded for not being a team player. How about being a team player by not being a resource drain on everyone else!
in the Navy i always heard (and later said) "lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on mine" i like it and stick to it unless its a "network" type person, i.e. if you scratch my back i will scratch yours.
