Steering Column Adjustment

How does one go about adjusting the slip bolt on the steering column. I ordered a new lower bearing and nylon sleeve from Dennis Carpenter and want to know how to do it right before I install it.

Also, does anyone have an exploded view of the steering column?

Go to the website. Click on catalogs, Click on download in .pdf format and it is there. I got it 2 weeks ago.

I found the "On the Way" message also when I looked on the catalogs tab. Scroll down the main page a little and they have another link to their downloadable catalogs. I found it there.

Fellas--

Home PC don't have .pdf capability. Internet is kinda slow too, so it could take days to download:-(

Dennis--

More than anything, I need to know how to adjust the stupid thing so my steering wheel sits where its supposed to. I just ordered the new bearings from Dennis Carpenter and want to make it right. So...if ya have the info...THANKS!!!

I would like to be able to see the parts...thats all.
