It was bound to happen

Go out and drive the truck somewhere for a few minutes, then return. Immediately pop the hood and unbolt a few items, then put them back on. When she asks what you are doing, tell her there's something wrong with the truck, it's just not running right. Then ask her if anything "happened" while she was driving it. This may just plant the seeds of doubt sufficiently that she won't want to drive it again. Be careful, could backfire and then she may want you to get rid of it for something she can drive.
WARNING, this method may not work for all people.

Yeah, my wife hates my truck, too. That's the good news. The bad news is that she has had to drive it to work and back every Mon-Wed for the past three weeks - and she is getting used to it.
Worse - because of our current situation, she will have to drive it three days per week for the next 5 to 6 weeks. I'm afraid that 'getting used to it' will change to "I like it."
She still complains that it is sluggish and has trouble getting out of its own way. She knows nothing of the magic switch under the dash.
Well, truth is, she knows it is there, but thinks it is only a theft control device - it has a 'no start' position.

AND if she ever drives it in the 80 hp 'econo' mode, she'll know it isn't sluggish at all.

My wife is driving my truck every day now since her work is half the distance of mine. I made her promise she would only drive it half as hard as I do!! She does not mind it being sluggish, she likes being in a big safe vehicle, but since she has gotten "comfortable" in it dont **** her off because she gets this evil little wicked smile on her face!
