the duraspark box on the drivers inside fender is actually the ignition module

Glad you found the problem !
I constantly tell people about checking small ignition wires as they get brittle and break.
Usually the worst spot is at a distributor connector

I have been driving a 77 460 for over 25 years and never had a module problem. (Yes my 77 has a module) I have lost a couple of coils, but I am amaized at the amount of guys on here that have module problems. I guess I have just been lucky!
