89' Engine Swap
I own an 89 bronco that has the EFI 300 six, I was wondering if there are any older model V8's that i can bolt up to the tranny. It has a manual tranny, 4 speed with overdrive. I wouldnt mind sticking with a 300, but the largest i want to go is a 351. All i know is that i want to drop a carburated motor in with as little work as possible. Thanks for the help!~

well going backwards may cause issues when getting it smogged or licensed. the efi just needs to be understood and it will actually be easier then carbed setup. plus with gas as hi as it is. the efi is superior. tell us whats wrong and im sure we can help

There is nothing wrong, im just a traditional man. where im at i have no problem gettin it to pass inspection because i know a guy. at the moment im running two 8 or 10 inch glass packs and it smokes like a diesel but it still passes, I just really like the carburator!
