Hink, is your new injector the cure for the noise problem?
Here's and update. After some more driving, I'm sure that removing the LL injector helped the noise and improved performance. It's quieter and smoother now, glad I did it! It's been frustrating spending all this time and money and not having things right. It's a real pleasure to drive now! Think I may get an AIS intake to replace the 6637. I like the idea of quicker turbo cool down and reduced engine drone. I liked a little more noise at first, now with all the mods, it's a little louder than it needs to be. I have my kids with me most of the time and It's nice to be able to hear them talk... well, most of the time.
S$#t, just what I needed to hear. I'm happy for you but that doesn't bode well for me. I'm just gonna have to bite the bullet and drive on for now. I've fixed all kinds of things that weren't broken the last few months. Now I have gauges and an HPX on the way. After telling the wife about that, I also told her to deduct the new CPS I had just bought off of ebay to have as a spare. The ole turd in the punchbowl and I got the appropriate response from her too. Yeah baby, ya gotta have a spare or you could get stuck.. Oh, and I'll be getting a tuner or chip soon too, just haven't made up my mind.
Maybe the same way I thought I could hear that hammering/knock, after quieting the cackle, is the same way I will imagine it's not there.
Anyway, congrats again. I'll know what to do if it begins to get under my skin.
