That is a really cool set up. I've never seen a stand alone generator under the hood of a truck.Is there a history of it? I've seen the belt driven ones, but not this. What kind of exhaust ar you using, looks like black pipe converted to EMT. Does it make a lot of noise when it's running. Is it ran to the back, tied into your current pipe, or down below?

That was an option on camper and contractor special trucks, maybe a seperate option for any truck. Different inner fender, and of course additional wiring.

What did that option cost then? I'm just now learning about the older pick ups, had a buddy that had one, F-100 360, and I believe a 3 on the tree. He had a contractor box (75). It was a cool truck, I own a few old rides, but I'm interested in the older P'Ups.
