New Pull Pics

Wasn't much of a test & tune for me I stripped a front hub. Guess thats what happens when you keep adding power. The DMax in the pics pulled it out about 350 ft. We'll get it fixed and try again. Click the link at the bottom.

Bummer Kevin. Sure hate for that Dmax to pull it out. How does it work? Is it timed and how far, or just how far ya can pull it?

It was just a practice night. There were trucks & tractors. We guessed the DMaxes distance, no measurement and it was later when the track got run in.

Glad the turbo worked out for you. At least the hub stripped on a practice night, not at a competition. That smoke out of yoru stacks is flying high!! You can tell that the new turbo is moving some serious air.

Can you say too much power? What I thought was a busted hub turns out to be a trashed front diff. It broke a cross pin and ate the spiders.

What's your estimate on power output now? It's got to take quite a bit to tear up a front diff.

Wanted to let everyone know we finally got it down the track on three good hooks. Boost went from 35 to 45 and rpms went from 2800 to 3500. It comes out so much harder it wants to break the tires loose immediately. With some work on the traction bars I think we got it fixed.
Went to Somerset OH last night and got 3rd in the big dance. Four trucks with full pull first hook. Dodge 1st, DMax 2nd, Ford 3rd, and Dodge 4th.
