Relay assistance and contribution thread

If you can or want to contribute to the relay fund, whether with money, or supplies, please post what you can do here. Posting your contributions here will help to keep the threads for the relay organized, and will help keep track of who is able to do what. Please post comments, ideas, or relay related talk and questions in the following thread https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...d.php?t=486921

Money contributions can be sent to me, and I will pool it all together, and send it to monsterbaby so that we will have the donated cash available along the route for fuel and truck maintenance only please. My address.

Joe,

well this is a double post... wrote first in the other thread and now copied here...

Well I'm stuck down here in Alabama and nowhere near your rally route... but as soon as you mentioned St. Jude and Make-a-wish you had me. My grandson spent last year there as a brain tumor survivor and was treated to Disneyworld by Make-a-wish. There isn't a better pair of charities in the U.S. for my money...

Put me in for $100.00 for whatever... gas, food, hotels. If it helps St. Jude, I'm in !!

just need a name and address for a check or you might consider setting up a Pay-pal account for everyone to donate thru..

good idea you had here and it should get great support.. ESPECIALLY from the union firemen across the country...they are great at this type function.

good luck

John

BTW you should contact Tim or Ken (George is out of service for a while) and get them to 'sticky' these threads up at the top...that way they won't get lost

Just to show my seriouness, I am posting my contact info publicly. If you are sending money, please state if it is for the truckin' fund, or if it is intended for St Judes, M-A-W foundation.

I've got access to a bank account. Do you guys prefer Bank of America, or U.S. Bank? Let me know.

Joe,

I will toss some cash your direction, and I can probably arrange a hotel night along the way.

Here's what I'll do for you.

I've a '48 F1 parts truck, front fenders, hood, doors, vent frames, cab, inner fenders, gas tank, filler neck, speedo cluster, ashtray, glovebox lid, suspension-minus gearbox/pitman arm and column) door handles, latch panels, hidden latch, farme (spoken for) x member with pedals and mounts, rear fenders. Gotta be 5/600 in parts here? I'll donate 50% of the proceeds to your fund...25% to go to the travel fund, 25% to go to the charity fund and 50% in my pocket. I don't really know how to manage it, nor how long it will take to sell it all. Maybe someone can ake a small website and post a link for it to keep track of what is sold and for how much?
