strait pipe... stacks
ok i know this is a rookie question but...
i had a mbrp exhaust on my 01 powerstroke and it sounded great form the outside, like if u were on the sidewalk and just saw it drive by. but when i was driving it i could barley hear it over the engine. so ive been thinking striat pipe. most likely stacks. the reason im asking is i know the turbo whine on the 6.0 is alot louder then my old 7.3. so im wondering if anyone is running stacks, and if so with or without mufflers (mufflers are an option on blackclouddiesel.com). just want to know how much worse the turbo whine will be with the stacks so close to the cab? thanks guys

sorry i forgot the second part of the question. this is the part that makes it a really "rookie" question. every aftermarket exhaust system raves about lower egt's. which i know is a good thing. what i would like to know is what happens to egt's with a strait pipe?? are they better or worse then say with a banks or mbrp system??
