370 pulling piston from bottom?

I have a buddy that needs to pull one piston and asked me if it could be done from the bottom of the motor with out pulling the crank. i don't think it can be done but said I would ask and see. Does any one know if you can or can not remove the piston from the bottom with the crank in the motor?

Not happening, sorry. Either the counterweight or the journal portion of the crank is going to be in the way. And even if there were space, reassembly would be pretty wierd.

you won't be able to pull them through the bottom even if you remove the crank.
