gas

Truck is not recieving gas when you hit the pedal, it go's but is spurting when the pedal is hit, bad gas? fuel injector pump? Fuel filter? It was fine when it started this AM, aboout midway thru the trip it started doing this. Anyone have any ideas? Just filled the tank with new fuel yesterday, but ran fine last night. Thanks

I would try changeing your fuel filter first it could be clogged it would be the cheapest fix. Did you let your gas tank get low if so you may have picked up something to clog your filter. I hope this helps good luck.

Also don't rule out fuel. CEL/SES light on? What does it do if you stomp it to the floor?

for anyone who care the problem was a misfire on the 4th cylynder, not bad gas or a fuel filter. Thanks for the good advice, I did chaNGE the filter anyway
