Gen 1-2 ranger specs
Ok. My curiousity here lies in the 83-92 rangers with std cab short bed 2wd. Preferably the 2.3 engine. I am wanting to learn different things about the suspension, weights, deminsions etc.
1. How much would a ranger like this weigh? (real world weight)
2. With the Twin I-Beam front suspension. Can you adjust caster, camber in both negative and positive aspect? more specifically around these specs
Caster: LF +1* RF +2.5* Camber: LF +1.5* RF -3.5-4* and also the Toe-in and out around 0.125"
3. Is it possible (has anyone done it) to run a cable-type clutch vs. hydraulic?
I am thinkin of running a 4 speed from either a pinto or 79-86 2.3 mustang in the ranger and i dont think they can be used with hydraulic clutch systems? maybe someone else can show me otherwise.
4. How do you think the TIB suspension would stand up to low-med banked paved oval track racing? I am thinkin of actually using 83-92 ford ranger for mini stock racing use.
