Well boys I put a scj oil filter adapter on my 460 and cant get the thing to stop leaking any Ideas? I'm not even sure where its leaking,All I find is oil all over behind it and when it is sitting and running oil dripping down the filter!
Don't use Teflon tape in the lube oil system. Use liquid/paste type pipe dope for oil and gasoline applications. Ask a knowledgeable clerk in your local hardware store for the correct type. If they suggest Teflon tape try another store.
You may have over tightened a fitting and split something.
If you get the part clean and use a light and an inspection mirror it should not be difficult to tell where the oil is coming from.

My 390 had this problem and all i had to do was re tighten the 4 bolts on it, but if that isnt your problem my guess would be some of the old gasket is still on there somewhere causing the leak.
