ive recently found a 4x4 van for sale its sitting on 33's and im lookin to get it on 38.5's also if its got a small block (engines bad... havn't looked to see what is yet) would i need to get a bigger dog house to fit a 460? so basically my questions are, what can i do to lift it, and whats involved with crammin a 460 in there?
Post in the 4x4 forum and make sure it has a Dana 60 at least and not just a Dana 44.
imo, The van is very front heavy and 33s are about the limit for a Dana 44 off road. You probably could fit 35s, anything else will require a lot of fender trimming towards the door side and anything wider then a 12.50 tire on a standard 4" back spaced rim (10 wide) will probably cause extreme rubbing.
