Hurricane news
I was rereading the Shelby GR-1 article in the new Motor Trend and noticed that they indicate that it'll be powered by a 7.0L of the new Hurricane v8. At the end of the article, they list its stats at 7.0L, DOHC, 600+ hp and 500+ ft-lbs. Looks like the competition is about to heat up for the HEMI.

Once that hit's the market, you know what we're going to hear. "It's bigger, so that's not fair". Or "yeah, but it's got DOHC and 4 valves/cylinder".

Oh, and 1 liter is equal to 61.02374409473229 cubic inches. Here's a link so you don't have to whip out the calculator everytime.

OK ... thanks guys. Well ... after all that multiplying of the 16 digit number, I come up with a Hurricane 427.16+ cubic inch. THAT I can remember. I personally think Ford ought to give the Europeans their liters and give us back our cubic inches. 427 looks nicer on the side of a car or truck than 7.0 does ... I don't care what any European thinks about it!
