hey guys, i just got my new f-250 psd! and after i get rid of those wimpy stock tires, next up is the exhaust. ive decided that no matter how much my wife and friends make fun of me im getting stacks!!! my question is where and who to buy from. ive had diesel exhaust systems before but never stacks. ive looked online and havent found much, and with no brands ive heard of. anyone with info or pics please post. thanks again.

if so check out airflowonline.com, they have all the parts you need includding the y splitter to run two pipes to each side of your bed. check out the diesel stop for lots of great ideas and pictures of setups.
Check out my gallery, I got my stacks off e-bay, from seller chromeroom, they have them there all the time, I think I paid $260 shipped for a set 5" diameter 60" tall stacks. I had previously checked out truck dealerships, and they want $250+ each, so this was a great deal. I have had my stacks on for over a year, and they have held up really well, no discoloration or peeling. Oh heck heres a pic.
You can still check my gallery to see how it was routed. You will need some quality flexpipe(expensive) to do it right. I'm not running any mufflers either, no problems from the cops yet, they are still chasing the buzzy compacts. Good luck.
thanks again for the info guys. has anyone seen or used the new mbrp stacks? i had mbrp on my last truck and was really impressed with the quality and sound.

I talked to one guy who had put drain valves in his pipes. The amount of water that will actually get in the pipe is minimal, and will be evaporated the next time the vehicle is run. The stacks get plenty hot. I have had plastic bags, a cooler and several dog toys melt on mine. I am working on a barrier to keep stuff from sliding into them though.
get one of those guards from a tracktor-trailor supply place... Has anyone seen that guy with the Power Wagon with the stacks!? omg that guy is my hero... ill find the link, even though it isnt a Ford...
here's my 6" stacks the morning after i put them on, so they're all clean
click on the pic for some more pics... a couple weeks after, there is a nice carbon coating on the inside and a couple inches down on the outside i haven't done anything to stop rain from going in and i haven't had a problem, but other than the chrome stacks, the rest of the exhaust is stainless steel. I got the stacks from http://www.usatruckpartsonline.com/ and flex pipe from http://www.iowa80.com/iowa80/shop because usa truck parts didn't have 6" flex pipe.
