instrument panel colors

I have a 1970 f100. Right now it has just the most basic interior you could get. I recently purchased an old '70 Ranger to get the interior. My old instrument panel has a silver with chrome trim color scheme. The one out of the ranger is painted all black with the woodgrain and chrome color scheme. I was wondering if someone had painted it black or if it come from the factory black?

I beleive the ranger came that way. It was an upgrade for that package. I know that the woodgrain is part of it, but not positive on the black.
