95 Cutting out????? HELP
95 automatic.
I was just driving home after picking up a tow dolly. All of a sudden it just started to cut out. It seems to have straightened out but I have a 1400 mile trip next week and I CANNOT get stranded. Any ideas????? Thanks

Have you noticed the check engine light on? It would help if you knew someone with an OBDII DTC checker. If you have a Auto Zone near you they will check for codes for free. How long have you had this vehicle? Have you had basic maintenance? Fuel and air filters? I would check these areas first if you haven't already done so. It does sound like a cam position sensor but it always best to start simple first then get technical. CPS will usually throw a code but not always. If it ends up being CPS go to International to get parts they are cheaper.
