Anybody know what the exact warrenty is for corrosion? I have a 2002 f-350 PSD crew and the paint is bubbling from the inside out over the back wheel wells. I went to the body shop the dealer uses and they agreed it is rust through from the inside out. The manual says 5 years unlimited mileage, my question is does the paint itself have to be punctured to cover it? All i have to do is pop it with a pointed pen and it will be all the way through. Dealer told me I have to meet with the zone rep to get the ok on the repair (both sides of the bed) Its probably a big ticket repair so the service mgr dosent want to make the decision. To me its pretty clear. The manual dosent say anything about the paint havine to be punctured. But I have a feeling he might try that route to get out of the warrenty. Thanks Jeff

i had the same thing all i can say is help the bubbles pop and then get the rep involved they will repaint for you it sucks to have to do that but they wouldnt do anything for me until some of the bumps opened up???
