I hate nitrous, it tears everything up! Everytime you hit the button it shortens the life of the engine, oh well that's just me. I think a turbo would be a better alternative.

hehe wet shot I can grab for about 400-450$, turbo alone will cost that much. Its a whole lot simpler system, I am worried about the ignition, and might get a MSD retard for the timing under nitrous situations. Also, if I do blow it, I can have the wet shot off and in a bag, the wholes plugged and the lines reconected in about 15 minutes so the prying eyes of the parents wouldnt be able to tell that THAT killed it, the turbo would take substantially longer...Ultimate goal after I finish college is a twin turbo 306... hehe... running a copper headgasket and around 15 pounds of boost on a 4 valve head that I am designing (because college is cool like that, and I already have the issue of setting up the valvetrain to do it worked out, its a matter of getting a good solid casting...). 6K RPM peak power shouldnt be outa the questions, with 500 HP as a goal (again at 15PSI, I only need to make 250 with a 4 valve 306 and a heavy cam, which is tootally within reason). Mated to a t56 (that is if it can handle the TQ) with some 3.11 gears to make them nice and long, and aid in turbo spool.... muahah power bitches, power...
