1962 f100 bed

where is a good place toi get a solid used or good fiberglass or steel truck bed for a 1962 f100 custom cab im working on.

I just scored a perfect bed for my 66 on a website called craigslist they have one in every major city,the guy even delivered it to my house .Good luck

depends on the style you want. they used the same stylesides as 57-60s, the styleside that matches the bodylines wasn't used untill 64

step side would be great

when i got the truck it had a 58 or 59 bed on it, its very solid but just looks very out of place i would love a nice compleet stepside.

believe it or not, that bed 58 or 59 style bed would be correct for 62. Ford did some strange things in the 60s, that was one of them. A junk yard is your best bet for a flareside (stepside) bed.

A bed to consider is the later 80s flare side. Truckfarmer had one that looked totally kewl in red. Possibly easer to find that older iron. or the correct bed can be had for an arm and leg new from Dan Carpenter reproductions.
