I know there is a step by step for painting and body work but here is what I am thinking.
My truck has had prior body work and has been primered but no paint over it and has been through the weather and the primer is getting very bad with chipping off. Should I sand it all down to bare metel/bondo and start my body work from there? I plan on getting all the body work and primer done then taking it to a shop and let them paint it and clear coat it. Thanks for the help and advice.
well my thoughts are to strip it down to metal and do the bodywork and primer work over. I know its alot of work but if your going to spend the money on a quality paintjob.. make sure its got a quality foundation.. dont cut corners on your prep work or you'll regret it later.
