I've put some more pics in my gallery. I have the crossmembers bolted in and have cut the frame. After I took these pics, I measured the wheelbase and I'm 5" too long so I got to cut out 5" more. This time I'm going to try to get the gaps closer. I won't be able to work on the truck till Wednesday. Also I still have to change the front spring mount to bring it down 3" as a 3" rake is too much for me!
Here's another update:
I've got it cut to the right length and have lowered to rear springs 3". I hope to trial fit the 302 and AOD on Friday to make sure everything works before it gets welded.
I don't know if I'll get that far. I hope to just to get the body on and have working brakes and steering. I do have to save some money for school. Maybe I could catch a ride in the mustang?
I can swap my great company for a ride in the mustang fom
When you own a Mustang I think You have to abide the slogan that appeared the day after the automobile was invented.
Cash, Grass or A** No one rides for free.
