Clear gearz

Has anyone used one of these? They look kinda cool, but it would be nice just to be able to check your diff. oil just by looking really quick.

yes the Clear Gearz is a plastic diff cover, and i want one!

This must be a generational thing. My old school thought is I would rather have a nice strong metal cover.

one thing to think about is i don't think plastic is as good of a thermal conductor as metal therefore the cooling may be less with a plastic cover but i don't really know

I read a diff cover shootout in one of the off road magazines a while back. If memory serves the cleargearz help up very well aganst the traditional steel and aluminum covers.
