I try to stay as far as possible from chemicals nowadays. Even walking down the detergent, insecticide or fertilizer aisles at stores can make me ill.
You seem to know a lot about they company. Do you have some connection with it?
I'm a department supervisor at one of the regional distribution centers. I started with the company in the old chemical works as a mixer's laborer. My wife feels the same way though, I used to have to strip my uniforms off while on the porch because she didn't want the chemical smells in the house.
It is too bad they can't contain some of those volatile organic chemicals better. Even with fume hoods (that just spray them into the atmosphere) they can't keep them off the workers. After a while it just ruins the liver. I have considered getting a full face gas mask just to use around the house at times.
