I have manual windows on my '91 Explorer and all of my interior door pulls are shot. I have the part number (F17B 7824101 LH, etc.) but I cannot find them anywhere. I have emailed a couple of Ford dealers and have gotten no replies.
Does anyone have any suggestions for something that may be more sturdy, or where I might find the original parts? My interior is blue, which makes it a bit more difficult to find parts.
The door pulls breaking is a common problem with Ford.
Mine went on my '97 EXPL.
Suggest you remove the pull handle, then take it to your local parts supplier.
Cost is around $10-12.00.
If you need some help removing the handle let me know, it's easier than you might think.
Good luck finding some. As far as I know now there were a total of 3 made with manual windows. Yours, my wifes and one in a wrecking yard, but those ones have my name on them. I have searched hi and low as well with no luck. Hope you find something.

Hi, I will try and help you find some! first, two door or four door? with or without carpet trim on panel?
They all look like they are obsolete from Ford but I will run a parts search and see if I can find one for you.
Thanks Ed
