headers on camper special
Last week I won, have not got them yet, a set of Heddman Headers on ebay for my 70 F250 360, auto, camper special. Yesterday I was looking through my ford truck catalog and one of their header ads said that certain headers do not fit camper specials or trucks w/ sway bars. Did I buy the wrong headers, they were spec'ed for 70 f250 but the ad did not mention camper special and I did not think it mattered. What is difference for headers for camper special vs. regular trucks? Could I be stuck w/ the wrong ones?

Not all Camper Specials came with sway bars. Sway bars are the problem for headers, just being a Camper Special that doesn't have sway bars should make no difference to that of a non-Camper Special. Camper Special or not, you will probably still have to lift the engine to get them in, and you will at least have to loosen the passanger side up to change the starter.
