fender flairs?
i have a 77 f-250 4x4 the lowboy style truck that i am lifting 6 inches and puting super swamper tsl radial the size is 38x15.50xR16.5 and the rim width is 9.75 and the offset is -21mm. will the tires stick out of the fenders and how much the laws i belive are 2 or 3 inches out are legal and i was seeing if i need to put fender flairs on my truck? any help apreciated.

I would mount the tires first and see how they look. I had 38's and bushwacker flares and took them off cause I think it looks better without them and they tend to crack and pop off easy on trees, bushes or rocks.

Bushwacker makes two styles of fender flares for our year of truck. The extend a flare and the cut out flares. The extend a flares are easy to install and give you approx. 2-3 inches of tire coverage. With the cut out flares you get something like 4-5 inches extra, but you have to literally CUT your wheel well openings larger and then install the flares. If you have rust issues or you need the extra room for the tires the cut outs could be the way to go.
