dana 60 ?

i just picked up a dana 60 kp axle. i was going to go ahead and pick up ujoints for it but the parts store said there is a heavy and light duty but couldn't tell me what was the difference. can somebody explain the difference. i thought a kp axle was a kp axle.

No such thing as heavy duty and light duty for a Dana 60 that I've ever heard of.

I would try shopping online for parts. Better quality, much cheaper.

The light duty is the D44 with 8 lugs and the HD is the D60. The parts store is just going by what the book is telling them. They don't understand the difference.
