Information on HighBoys
Hi I have a Show condition 71 F-250 Highboy (see gallery) and want to put collector insurance on it but the agency said it was lifted and not factory and they won't insure it unless I can proove it is original! What I am asking is if you have any information (copy writted documents prefered) or brochures from Ford or anything dealing with the highboy trucks that I can print on paper and send to the agency thus prooving to them that it is original and they can insure it. Thanks Very Much! Any help apreciated!

I cant help with the info. But I think someone on here had Factory Brochures. Maybe they would be enough for the insurance? You can probably find them on EBay, if you cant "borrow" a copy here.

I agree. The tires and wheels do make the truck sit up higher and take away the stock look. I had forgot to mention that when I took the pictures for the insurance I had the orginal white split rim wheels with the original tires (bias tires) on the truck. Since then I have added the larger wheels and tires (35's). Thanks for the info to look on ebay. I will look there tonight. Do you think FTE has old brochures for sale? I will look but I will still accept any help given.
