slow to take off

when you start the truck it will not idle or it will surge once you get it to roll it will pick up speed to a point when turbo spools up truck takes off and runs but stop at a light or stop sign and it will die or surge it does not wont to pull its self off again but if it will start rolling it will slowly pick up speed to a point and take off

change the fuel filter and add a double dose of diesel kleen to the fuel

Along with that replace the EBP sensor on the front of the engine while also removing the line connected to it coming from the passenger side manifold and clean it out. I would almost guarantee it is clogged or has debris in it. This sensor is in constant communication with the PCM all the time not just on start-up or cold weather. If the sensor doesn't get accurate readings it will do exactly what you are describing. They can be found on the auction site for around $40. Get a new one, trying to clean the one you have is a waste of energy. Didn't list your mileage but don't rule out your throttle pedal assembly starting to go out.

tube not stoped up to ebp sensor ,new diesel fuel and filter
