I dont want to look like an idiot but i thought that i would ask the question anyways. Is ford still making the lightning? if so are they using the old body style or the new one? i havnt seen or heard anything for a long time, so thats why im asking.
I don't really feel that the link given by ninjaman is credible.
That Autoweek article is much more credible and is also more recent. It states that the GT 500 was developed by SVT which is true...where as the ninjaman link says it's not from SVT but rather Shelby. This appears to be speculation since SVT's badging is not all over it. That doesn't mean they didn't help design it.
Don't forget about the Roush Stage 3 F-150, it will be putting out 450 HP and 500 FT/LBs of torque on 7.5 psi of boost. It still maintains the 3yr/36,000 mile warranty and is one of the cleanest looking supercharger setups on the market.
Actually, I hope the link I posted is dated/incorrect. SVT is good for the entire Ford lineup not just those vehicles craved by us power hungry people.
