Ebay headers???

Now honestly, I almost bought a set right then and there. I kinda figured that I'd start with the headers and Y-pipe and go from there. But $$170$$ for stainless headers? Seems cheep, maybe too cheep.....lol... Anyone have any thoughts????
There is currently a set of Gibsons at $199. These particular ones DO have the EGR pipe bung.
If it's the same seller as last time, their zip code matches Gibson's...
Others here have used them, no problems, they fit, etc. Me? I'd probably get them ceramic coated after making absolutely sure they have no leaks.
However, most people have reported they don't do much, and that the Y-pipe does more.
Let others speak on this more
I didn't need the EGR fitting for my '01. I have ordered a new set of better quality header gaskets from Mr. Gasket because the cheap ones they sent never sealed right.
The engine/exhaust noise is louder from the engine compartment. I assume thats because you can hear the exhaust exiting the valves through the thinner walls of the header pipes. The cast iron manifolds were a lot quieter.
My mileage didn't change any and there was no improvement at lower rpm's, but towing it seems to like the higher rpm's. It really purrs around 3,500.
Oh, and they look cool. You can see them from outside the front fenders above the tire, through that little gap between the frame and the fenderwell.
