My '91 is only for the street and I have a terrible ride. I tried Gabriel first, junked them and bought OEM from Fordparts network . They are just as bad, so think they are also Gabriel. I also have Air Lift in the back running 10 to 20 #. The Tires are Michelin M&S 32-11.50 X15. Any suggestions for a nice ride.
Skyjacker Nitro or Rancho Rs5000s are really nice, but don't know if they would quite give you the ride you want. Somthing that might help your ride smooth out would be get rid of a front shock on each a side(if you have quad shocks).
i have quad shocks on my f150 and i have just recently replaced the factory with the rancho 9000s. they are adjustable. there are 9 settings on the shock. they go from super solf to super firm. i run 2 on #1 setting and the other 2 on #5. i have elderbrock on my mustang. they are alsome too. kenny
You said air lift in the back? Through the years I have had air bags on Ford van front, Air shocks on Mercury station wagon back and others. I am not fond of air due to the bounce but that is just my opinion.
