It used to be that girls wore ear rings and guys had tattoos. And the guys who had tattoos were either military or convicts. Now, the gals have tattoos and the guys are wearing ear rings. And the gals don't wear ear rings, dresses or skirts. What happened to being a female and looking like one? Maybe it has something to do with where I live.
And, no, I ain't really that old but you can go ahead and call me a dinosaur. I won't be offended.
I am surrounded by this 'culture' on a daily basis. I like to think of it as more of a LACK of culture. It's part of the open mindedness garbage the hippies have been preaching since they've reached thier middle age years. Their brains are falling out. And the other thing that gets under my skin is this push for 'diversity'. It's the biggest load of dung I've ever heard. Diversity happens, then you embrace it and move on. You don't force it.
God knows if my generation will ever get their heads on straight.

Im with this guy. This PC and Diversity crap is getting old. Its fine to be diverse and embrace all that is wrong with other people, but to force it on folks is not right. For me, the more i hear it, the more i hate it. Like the illegal immigrant thing...5 years ago, i may not have given it a second thought, now it make my blood boil. They can stick their diversity up their...
I may be the oldest here, and this subject brings back memories. I remember when wearing a necklace or an earring would bring your manhood into question and most tattoos, discovered the next morning, were the result of too many beers combined with dares from your buddies. Use of the "F" word in the presence of a female was a legitimate cause for offense and "living together" was called "shacking up". As for body piercing, I recommend a tattoo on the forehead saying, "Space inside available - call 555-IDIOT". Most everything changes with time; sometimes not for the better.

I hear ya Dono....thanks for the laugh.
I myself will be 54 August 1 and I don't have a tattoo. Am I missing anything?
well i dont think the tattos are a biggie, its when the guys get the ear rings and nose rings and such. i dont mind a little tatto on the back or leg on the gals but when they cover there whole body thats when i look away. but i guess since im young its not a big deal to see a girl with a tatto because i have seen it since i was little. but you have to live with the different people.

I don't really mind the tatoos and earings. But only earings. When you can't talk right because you have a lip or tongue ring... it's time to seek help.
Everything in moderation, else the excess overtakes you.
