Dang your quik...I'm done chasing you around the forum lol.
Half of the fun is the hunt! Unsolicited sales pitch: I used the Discount Power guys for my tuner, and got great service and a good price. I know that potential customers view these threads too. Like all of the FTE sponsors, you cant go wrong!
Oh, and one thing which I'm not sure was mentioned yet. You do not have to keep the Edge unit on the dash. You can program the truck, and remove it (but I have a hard time understanding why anyone would!).
So when I finally pull the trigger on this tuner, hook it up to the computer via USB and dl the latest update, the new version now has IMPG and AMPG to view as one of the 4 on the screen?
And does the upgrade also adjust any of the 1,2,3 performance settings to even better specs or did those stay the same.
Is there much power difference from the towing setting to the performance one to justify the higher octane/more money?
I will never tow and want the performance but not if you really can't tell and save money on the 87-89 octane.
