460 power steering pump bracket

i put a 460 in my f250 in place of a modified. went to put on power steering pump and th epump hits the steering gear box. any suggestions. ned something fast thanks for the help

what did the bracket come out of ? I put a 460 in 77 1/2ton and it was close but did not hit also put one in a 77 3/4 ton and a 79 1/2 ton the 3/4 is perfect the 2 1/2 tons were realy close

the high boy bracket is what i need. or a bracket from a lincoln

I installed a 460 in my F250 also and I had the same problem. I bought new replacement p.s. brackets from L&L. They are expensive, but dropped right in. I didn't have to modify them at all. After I installed them I decided that it was worth spending the money to have the right part that fit.
