Hey,
Today I was driving home from picking up my '89 F-250 from the shop and i noticed that my fuel gauge didn't change at all and it should've cause it has the 460 that gets 10mpg and I was driving for an hour or 2.
Also, the 2nd tank is almost empty and the gauge doesn't change. How do I fix this and how hard is it? Thanks.
Something is shorting out the line to the gage. If only one tank is showing this problem it is not in the common gage wiring. Take a look back where they were working. Switch your gage to the other tank to keep from burning the gage out.
The rear tank is about empty and the gauge reads "over full", but when I switch it to the front tank it reads about "full" (it used to show "over full", but went to regular "full" after I siphoned some out). So where should I check?
