Rear brake squeal

Quick question for someone who probably knows more about this than I do. My rear brakes are squealing just enough to be irritating. I have a 03 4x4 supercab with 26K and the 4.0. Is there some special cleaner for the brakes that someone has tried? I've already tried setting the emergency brake several times but it didn't help.

first of all, if u brake alot its prolly time to change them. make sure to use the glue when reinstalling the brakes

I would think the front brakes would wear out before the back ones.... What I really need to do is pull the wheel off and do a good inspection.

-prolly just characteristic. most ford brakes since the late 80s have had a sqeal. there was even a TSB in the mid/late 90s about them. they even made special rear shoes for those who wanted the squeal stopped, but they said it was not a problem with the brakes or affected the stopping, just a irratating noise....most all f150/rangers/SD/econos do it....
