new valve covers....suggestions?
Welp, i need new valve covers. I dont wanna spend too much on them. I remember seeing some for like 25$, they were PAW brand. Anyone know of a good pair to get for a good price im looking for some under 50-60$. Mine are denting and leaking badly.....Thanks inadvance

CR, Why don't you get a straight piece of wood and pound them back straight, and send me the $50.00 for the tip, take the other $10.00 for a new gasket set.

Can I piggyback on this topic and ask where I can get some high-rise dress up valve covers for the FE? I saw some really cool ones I'd love to get, but they only make the for 5 oh's. grrr

Actually it works quite well, a NCFTO member worked with mine and stopped them from leaking. I had used 3 different sets of gaskets unsuccessfully. You want them to rest on the engine gasketless and not wobble or bobble in any way. The bolt holes are usually pulled inward because of overtightening and they can get racked a little. Course if you gotta have new purdy ones, no pounding in the world will work.
