hello, I have a 1990 f-150 2 wheel drive, i also sell firewood on the side, what is the best and cheapest way to build it up to carry the maximum amount of wood in one load? thanks in advance.

What's a cord of wood weigh? I hauled 3000lbs of class "A" gravel with my old 88 F150 (302/C6/8ft box) with standard springs and crappy tires. If It has some good quality LT rubber and helper springs it should haul all you want. Mine drove fine as long as you weren't trying to set any land speed records....LOL.... I could motor out the highway at 60mph comfortably. I recently had 33 8ft bundles (about 2500lbs) of hardwood flooring on my 96 (6.5ft box), those Goodyear Wrangler tires are junk - all over the road...LOL....Gotta put some good rubber on there.
