'69 - 360 won't start hot

I too am having this problem. Can I just disconnect the hoses from the card spacer? Other people in different posts have said to get an old mustang carb spacer without the water ports. Do I have to do this or can I just disconnect the water lines and leave the spacer like it is?

yes you can just disconnect the hose and reroute them and you can leave the spacer the way it is because there is nothing running through it. the only reason th change it is if you want to do it for looks. but you don't really notice it anyway.
