Intake Service
I have a '99 5.4 liter with 117k and the dealer wants $200 to do some kind of intake service where they clean out the intake, etc. Sounds like something I can do myself fairly easily.......can someone talk me through it?

We would specifically need to know what they were going to do; however, an upper intake cleaning can usually be accomplished by running a can of your favorite cleaner through a vacuum line. $200 sounds too inexpensive for them to remove the intake and physically clean it.
