I am looking to buy a new truck the dealer can not seem to find what I want, I do not want an 07 what are some good web sites to find a new truck. or can someone point me in the right direction.
If it is a manual Tranny forget it. You will have to order one.. I looked high and low for one just so I could test drive it and there were none in New England. Not sure where you are, but I know they are scarce...
I know a fantastic online resource, Ernie a.k.a. Polarbear. Drop him a PM or post for him in the Ford/Lincoln/Mercury buyer forum. He can find just about anything.
up in ct there just may not be any around of what you want or near it in that dealers normal trade zone that they work. the 07 's can now be ordered you just may have to. just if it's a stick your after you may be out of luck due to the new emmissions laws
good luck man
I do not think I am looking for something to hard. here is around something I am looking for. f250 xlt regular cab 8' bed. either black or teador red like prefer black. 40/20/40 seat, fog lamps, sliding rear window, roof lights, 12.5 reciever hitch, manual hubs. for the drive train either the 5.4 or the 6.0l depending how many other options the truck has to drive the price up. on the special packages pritty flexable. I know I don't want the tow comand, trailer brake system or the shift on the fly. and if possible the sport mirrors. It seems like most of the trucks are either bare bones xl or loaded xlts.

The Regular Cab is going to be much more difficult to find and will seriously limit your options.
It's a long shot,but look on ebay. I found my perfect truck there. It's a 2002 F-250
Superduty 4x4 Reg cab XLT V-10 Six speed, fully loaded. I bought it in Jan 2004 as
a left over, with only 20 miles on it! I saved over 10k off the sticker, and still got the
full warannty. I live in MA and picked up the truck in NJ,but it was well worth it.
