Matt, thanks for the inspriation ... I found the adapter in the original V1 box that I squirreled away in the attic ... and did the installation this evening ...

Popped the A-pillar off (easy to do especially after putting in the 3 gauge setup a week ago) and tapped into the power for the guages and I am in business ... nice and clean and one less item sucking of the cig lighter adapter ..

Now I have to clean up the cell phone, crackberry charger and Sirius cables ... from the cig adapters

If you go to radio shack or look online, they sell an auxiliary cigarette lighter kit that comes with a fuse and everything but I used that to hard wire my Rhino (gps/gmrs radio) to my previous vehicle. Just hide everything behind the dash and use the regular cigarette lighter cable and then you won't have to cut into the cable and if you ever get rid of the thing you can yank everything out w/o a trace!
