Where Can i get a core support for a 70 3/4 ton. Ican,t seem to locate anywhere that has them?

They sure are tough to find. Check out the classifieds on this site or ebay, I guess. I got lucky and found a spare a few weeks ago.

There is one for sale on ebay right now. Anything from a '67 to a '72 will work.

I have also heard that 73-79 will work with some minor adjustments. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this rumor?????

Sure, it'll work. The main modification is to drill holes to install j-nuts where the hood latch rods bolt to it. The latch position was reversed between 72 and 73.
