Pushrod length
I've been told that there will be a little bit of rocker noise on a 302 and not to worry abou it. What I do worry about is being able to hear it while I'm driving it. We just got the '68 Mustang running (yeah!!!) but I'm a FE guy (somewhat). FE's have 1200 different lengths of pushrods. I guess small blocks do, too? How do you check the clearance on non-adjustable rockers? What's the clearance supposed to be? What's the lifter pre-load? I think it's a mid-70's engine, the water pump points to the driver's side. Thanks.
