Okay, just drove it 680 miles from Rolla Missouri to Knoxville Tennessee. 69 Ranger shortbed, power steering, 360 rebuilt to 390 and Hurst tranny. I don't know much else about it. Cost me $1200 and it cruised at 75 mph all the way here. Hit 90 mph when I wasn't paying attention. Burns no oil. Anyway, help me out with these numbers.

I realize that lots of things change in 33 years and I just want to find out where I stand on my starting point here. I've already taken a boatload of "before" pics and want to document everyhing my 15 year old son and I do to it. One previous restoration (72 Chevelle...don't shoot me It was 16 years ago). Finally have a garage and time to do another. Have read all the threads that you all have posted and they really helped me in my search for an old Ford truck. Any help will be appreciated.

Incorrect. A DSO code with two numbers refers to the District SALES OFFICE the vehicle was ordered from.
IF the DSO code has 4 additional numbers, the vehicle is a Domestic Special Order.
